Have you seen the Bodmin Beast or know someone who has? I haven’t and not sure I’d want to – I’m more of a dog person.
Bodmin Beast is one of the named trails at the Cardinham Trail Centre near Bodmin in Cornwall. I used to treat riding in Cardinham like going to the gym – just less boring. I made it fun by mostly riding my single-speed retro bike with booming 80’s rear wheel disc and drop handlebars. No gears gave me something to moan about (to myself) on the climbs and canti-lever brakes, drops and no suspension the rest of the time ?
In Australia people regularly as me about this design. They don’t realise I created it so it’s pretty cool that they do bring it up. The most popular conversation starter is the CottonBurner3 design. Gotta admit, it does make my day.
